Dr. K. Nicely is a Board Certified and Licensed Dentist (DDS) in Texas. She has had a great amount of education and experience in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, and limits her practice to Orthodontics in El Campo, Victoria and surrounding areas of Texas. She corrects crooked (mis-aligned) teeth and bite, and treats TMJ pain and jaw symptoms as well as airway and sleep-related symptoms with oral appliances. At El Campo Braces, she utilizes advanced technologies as well as traditional braces, clear braces, and aligners to straighten teeth and to give beautiful smiles and healthy jaw functions. Her practice also supports local schools and businesses.
Dr. K. Nicely grew up in a humble home in China, and understands the importance of hard work, faith and integrity. (She was converted to Christianity when she was about 24 years old.) After graduation from college, she attended Baylor University (TX) for graduate school with scholarships. She worked for the local governments of Austin, Waco, and Oklahoma area for many years. She attended Dental School at the University of Oklahoma, which is one of the top clinical dental schools in the US. Her heart has always known a calling in the healthcare field, and she felt blessed to be given the skills, temperaments and experience required for orthodontic dentistry. She treats her patients like her own families. She enjoyed her mission trips to Peru and other places, and loved volunteering her time and skills.
Dr. Nicely always strives to stand in the forefront of innovated technologies to provide better, safer ways of serving her family of patients with love and compassion. She loves learning from seasoned practitioners and from listening to her patients. She is a member of the International Association for Orthodontics (IAOrtho.org), which is based in Wisconsin, USA, and she has gained over 270+ hours of orthodontic continuing education hours with clinical experience. She limits her practice to Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, and utilize appliances to help improve sleep and airway health. She strives to make the best esthetic result possible for any given teeth and gum situations (environment) in every patient.
She has been happily married for about 18 years. Her husband is a Bible teacher and they are both passionate about the Gospel and discipleship. They have a son, and also have a dog and a cat.
Rhonda has been a veteran working in the dental field and orthodontics for over 16 years.
She is always happy to help patients feel at ease and to provide gentle and high-quality care to our patients. She is also good at following the Treatment Plans and steps that the doctor has prescribed for each patient, working as a team to make the beautiful end-results possible!
Angelica has been working in the dental and orthodontics field for over 15 years, as well.
She is a capable office coordinator as well as an orthodontic assistant - we have enjoyed having her over these years!
